I just finished watching Don't Mess With My Sister. www.imdb.com/title/tt0089037/I'd have to say that I was disapointed because this isn't a horror movie at all. It is basically a domestic squabble. The worst that happened was a few punches in the stomach and a self defense murder about thirty minutes in. As I watched it, I got the feeling that whoever wrote it was getting his own feelings out on a personal breakup. I hope it helped them, because it doesn't do much for the viewer. Anyone else got any examples of Horror Movies that turned out to be something entirely differant.?

www.imdb.com/title/tt0199772/ Great topic oz, I would say a good example of a horror movie missing the horror would be Mirror, Mirror III: The Voyeur (1995) which I watched went I got the box set. I am a fan of the first film and the second installment is okay but Mirror, Mirror III is more porn then horror. Nothing really happens, it is not scary and it sucked. As I write this I am watching Silent Night, Deadly Night III: Better Watch Out! (1989).

I'm sure I've seen a ton of pseudo horrors can't really remember many at this moment but I'll post when I do. There are a ton of 70's exploitations that are kind of missing the horror and just have rape or explicit themes.

There's a movie that I always liked called Of Unknown Origin. It stars Peter Weller of Robocop fame and also stars Shannon Tweed. I remember renting it and going by the box, it looks like it's a monster movie, but it really isn't. Essentially it's Weller losing his mind while trying to rid his house of a mouse. Sounds silly I know, but if you get a chance, check it out. Very little gore, a few good laughs. Overall a good movie. Not what I expected, but still worth a viewing.
